Falafel is a traditional Arab food, originating in Egypt, adopted early on by Palestine and Israel and other countries throughout North Africa and the Middle East. Nowadays, falafel is available throughout the world, considered as a tasty vegetarian food.
Falafel is a nutritious and delicious vegetarian food. Chickpeas are high in protein, complex carbs and fibre, but low in saturated fat and salt and contain very little cholesterol. They also contain many key nutrients and vitamins.
Our home made falafel is served in delicious soft pita bread, accompanied by fresh salads and pickles, topped off with some delicious sauces.
